(32 - Protasov Yuriy / Cherepin Pavlo): I have hit a small tree, little bit of damage.

(16 - Solberg Henning / Minor Ilka): Everything is ok, but I had a spin and I had to back. I have to stay on the road, that is the main thing.

(16 - Solberg Henning / Minor Ilka): spun

(17 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): I have got a misfire, it seems to be after I change gear. It is cutting the car for 15 to 20 metres after.

(12 - Al Qassimi Khalid / Patterson Chris): A cautious start for us this morning. But quite a good stage.

(15 - Tidemand Pontus / Fløene Ola): Absolutely good run, the car is really good, we just enjoy it.

(14 - Sołowow Michał / Baran Maciej): It was a lot of fun but it was very slippery. I was quite surprised.

(11 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): I think we did quite okay, a lot of lose snow in the end and not so easy to drive. Quite good run and quite good feeling. Still a bit shaky. It is good, but long way to go.

(21 - Prokop Martin / Tománek Jan): Luckily there was a lot of good spectators to help us out. But there were other which were only watching and filming. If they will help also, I should be back on the road sooner. Not a good start. After a corner I had a problem with the steering and went into a ditch.

(8 - Hänninen Juho / Tuominen Tomi): Really nice stage, but the main thing is the car feels good, a little bit understeer, but now I can relax and enjoy.

(7 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): It cost me maybe two seconds maximum to pass Prokop. Not so bad, I see a few things we have to change but I enjoyed. We got some wheel spin some places so we have to change the gear.

(21 - Prokop Martin / Tománek Jan): was out of road

(10 - Kubica Robert / Szczepaniak Maciej): It was ok, quite slippery and not easy stage to start off. I think for all rally we will have to take care and be careful. The conditions are changing, sometimes good, sometimes not.

(5 - Hirvonen Mikko / Lehtinen Jarmo): I am just happy that I am here, last year it latest only on kilometer. The car is perfect, no worries with that. Lets move on.

(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Markkula Mikko): Clean stage, nice to get a clean run in the first proper stage. Of course things can improve on the driving.

(6 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): It was going okay, we had just like a half spin in a junction where we caught a snow bank. Other than that, not a bad start.

(4 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas): Difficult start, struggle a bit to find the rhythm, could not really push on this stage, not a good opening, but we are through.

(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): I dont think on this stage there was really a gain, on this stage it was better to be first on the stage. Maybe later it will help not being first on the road.

(3 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): There was a little bit of snow on the road, but it offered some good grip. I am sure it will clean for the guys behind. I want to concentrate and enjoy it, if I enjoy it the times will get better.

(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): It is slippy, not so much snow. its okay, maybe not a perfect start but not a bad drive. Not really mistakes, but at the end I could have pushed a bit more.
